How long have you been at PCMH?
“Right now I’m a staff Nurse II and I’ve worked here for 22 years. My next steps are RN III and then retirement.”
Why nursing?
“I’ve always loved babies and from a child I wanted to work in a newborn nursery. A career in nursing helped me make it happen.”
Why nursing here?
“Because yes, I love what I do. I enjoy coming to work. I work with great people and have had great successes. At PCMH, there are always more than one way to do things. The staff is so oriented and supported.
What’s the best part of your day?
“The best part is when I can love on the babies and assist new families. This is a great place to work. Nursing is hard, but rewarding.”

“I found there was no place in this hospital I would rather be. I have a great boss and through thick and thin, it has been a great 22 years.”
